Overview
SHUT YOUR EYES AND THINK OF ENGLAND was written by John Chapman and Anthony Marriott. John Chapman co-wrote our last comedy 'Not Now Darling' and this has the same heady mixture - mistaken identities, romance, high finance, also a sheik! It's fun from beginning to end. Not to be missed!!

The Story
When Mr Pullen goes to the office on Saturday to work on the accounts, he is shocked to discover his employer, Sir Justin Holbrook, in the executive flat with a call-girl. The unexpected arrival of Lady Holbrook leads Sir Justin to pretend the girl is "the second Mrs Pullen".
....and things get worse! A rich Arab sheik is expected to sign an agreement that is vital to Britain’s interests; alas, Sir Justin suddenly collapses, so Pullen has to impersonate him.
….and worse still! The real Mrs Pullen arrives and various others and the situation degenerates into a heady mixture of mistaken identities.
Eventually, as is usual in all good farces and after a riot of fun, everything works out to everyone's satisfaction......... almost!
