Goldilocks and the Three Bears 23rd Jan - 4th Feb 2017, eves Mon-Sat, Matinees Sat
HATS' annual family pantomime for 2017 is Goldilocks and the Three Bears, written by Stephen Duckham, and directed by Sarah O'Connor.
Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society (HATS) presents a traditional family panto suitable for all ages.
This year, HATS' annual pantomime production is Goldilocks and the Three Bears written by Stephen Duckham, produced by Heather Prouse, directed by Sarah O'Connor and MD'd by Michael Wonnacott.
Director Sarah O’Connor sets the scene:
‘How does that story fit into a pantomime? I hear you asking… Well, cleverly, we are placing this story inside a circus where we find acrobats, clowns and many fun characters taking part in the proceedings. When Goldilocks finds the circus as a friendly place to hide from her mean guardian she soon discovers they have a financial crisis on their hands and need to think of something different to save them from bankruptcy. When she meets the bears in their house in the woods they agree to go with her to the circus to be the stars and to draw the crowds. Then with villains, clowns, acrobats and animals (Sopwith the camel might even find her way to the set from the last panto!!) there will be plenty of fun to be had by all!
