Babes In The Wood, was a Pantomime directed by Mary Kelley.
'Babes in the Wood' 1983 was Mary Kelley's last pantomime. Crispin King in several pantomimes had played limp wrested Demons, but he was outstanding as Baron Hardup. This panto marked the debut of Alan Bewes. In pantomime you are supposed to use your imagination. Alan in one scene was a Scotsman in a very short kilt. He was a sensation. A black market developed for tickets, particularly from ladies of a mature age who wanted seats on the front row
